Floor Unit: Some Kind of Heaven
2019
Ceramic, Paint
40” x 40” x 2”
I began imagining floor unit: Some Kind of Heaven, last fall. The title and gradient came from Ed Ruscha’s painting, A Particular Kind of Heaven, whose exacting essence I hoped to imbue into the Floor Unit, presenting itself to you as a portal to another sphere of living.
