Artist statement for The Essential Goods Show at Fisher Parrish Gallery:
"In the face of challenge which is always present, but now blatant,
reverence for our interconnectedness is the only way forward.
How we exist in relationship determines our future.
This spoon is for a grandmother and her grandson.
This spoon is for two teenage sisters.
This spoon is for a father and his 5 year old son.
For them to partake together.
Synchronicity is intimacy is community.
Consuming is essential.
Intimacy is essential."
